The UK has changed its policies on who is allowed to enter the country. Now, most visitors are allowed to visit the country without the need to undergo a pre-departure medical test. However, some travelers must undergo additional tests and quarantine requirements. There are two main types of visas for tourists to the UK. A Standard Visitor visa permits you to stay in the country for up to six months. However, you can apply for a longer stay in certain circumstances.
One of the major changes is that the restrictions on travelers with the coronavirus virus have been lifted. While you will still need to get a travel vaccination, you will no longer be required to fill out a passenger locator form. In addition, you will no longer have to undergo self-isolation for three days once you arrive in the UK. This change has been welcomed by travel firms and airlines after two years of tight travel restrictions. As a result, many holidaymakers are scrambling to book their getaways in time for the February school break and the Easter break.
